Sony introduces two new Walkman phones – the W880/W888 and the W610
Sony Ericsson also introduced two new Walkman phones – the W880/W888 and the W610. Both of these phones feature support for the Memory Stick Micro format and come integrated with a 2 megapixel digital camera.
Let’s focus in on the W880/W888. First off, the only difference between these two models is in the basic protocol support. The W880 supports UMTS 2100 GPRS 900/1800/1900 while the W888 supports GSM and doesn’t include the video telephony functionality.
