I can’t believe my eyes! Has Sony finally realized it needs to acknowledge the Apple iPod’s existence? Could be folks! Why do I say this? Sony is now selling (and I quote) the “iPod Audio Docking Station CPF-IP001“.  Yep! You heard me right. An iPod Audio Docking Station with the Sony brand name attached to it. Apparently someone at Sony realized that they were missing out on the iPod peripherals market!

The Sony iPod Audio Docking Station is basically a speaker system designed for the iPod. Features include:

  • Compact size
  • S-Master digital power amplifier
  • Includes digital signal processor with surround sound mode
  • Included subwoofer
  • Additional line input for second audio source
  • Remote control included
