Dell has decided to go up against Panasonic in the ruggedized notebook market with the launch of the new Latitude ATG D620. This is Dell’s first semi-rugged notebook computer designed for people who need computers that have that extra protection from every day hazards. The Latitude ATG is available right now here in the US and will be available in other parts of the world in several weeks.

Spec wise, the Dell Latitude ATG meets military standards for vibration, humidity, and altitude, and is designed to protect the system from:

  • Accidental bumps
  • Moisture
  • Surrounding elements

  • spill resistant keyboard

  • High durability paint
