Clifford Scout420 Portable Navigation System and Personal Media Player
One glance at the Clifford Scout420 SIRIUS ready Portable Navigation System and Personal Media Player (that was a mouthful) and one can’t help but think it kinda looks like a Sony PSP. Just a little bit right? A little???
Ok.. so the Scout420 is getting some mentions here because it’s another Directed Electronics product which won a CES 2007 Innovations Award.
Features of the Clifford Scout420 include:
- 20 GB HDD
- 4.3 inch color touch screen display
- Integrated SiRF Star III GPS Receiver
- Internal antenna for convenience
- All North American Maps Pre-loaded
- Over 6 million points of interest included
- Turn by turn navigation
- Install recall of last 15 destinations
- Music Storage and Playback
- Supports MP3, WMA, and WAV files
- Digital Photo Viewer
- Slide Show feature included
- AV input and AV output with record capabilities
- Simple plug and go installation for quick and easy operation
This is one serious device when you think about it. It’s a navigation system AND it’s a portable media player with a 20GB internal hard drive! I’ll have to see the 4.3 inch color touch screen display to see if it lives up to expectations!
