You can certainly find any number of cases for the Apple iPod but one manufacturer that recently caught my eye were the folks at iSkin and their iSkin Vibes product line.

The iSkin Vibe is basically a two layered case for the Apple iPod. The first layer provides the basic protection needed for the Apple iPod. The second layer of the Vibe is where you’ll find cool designs from artist Simone Legno. These designs are called tokidoki designs and you can pick from 8 different designs for the iSkin Vibe.

Once you pick a Vibe case, you can also get a matching iSkin CERULEAN earphone.. though that might be pushing things a bit far here (though they would make a great gift for a young one I think!).
