LaptopMag published a review of the Dell Inspiron E1405 laptop earlier in the week. Although fairly boring in appearance, the E1405 comes packed with features including:
- Intel Core Duo and Core 2 Duo processors
- Windows XP Media Center Edition OS
- 14.1 inch widescreen display with 1280 x 800 resolution
- WiFi support (802.11 b/g)
- Optional Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth module
- Supports RoadReady design technology for dealing with everyday bumps and bruises
- Dell MediaDirect for instant on access to calendar, contacts, presentations, videos, music, photo slideshows
- Up to 2GB of memory
- Measures 12.99″ x 1.52″ x 9.56″ and weighs only 5.3 lbs
Here’s the verdict on the laptop by LaptopMag:
While the design is getting a bit stale, the Dell Inspiron E1405 delivers the performance users on the go are looking for, along with lots of endurance. The MediaDirect functionality and multimedia controls are icing on the cake.
