Siren announces two new wireless products
Siren has announced two new products – the Siren Screamer which is a wireless audio streaming device and the Siren Wireless Headphones – which well.. are wireless headphones!
The Screamer is designed to work with PCs running either Windows Media Player or Apple iTunes. Simply connect an included USB dongle to your PC and then wirelessly transmit to a dock that’s connected to any powered speakers. The Screamer comes with a remote control designed to control the PC. It even has a display that’s capable of displaying playlist information. The dock and the dongle can be separated up to a theoretical 150 feet while the music is streamed oveer the 2.4 GHz spectrum.
Siren also announced a new Wireless Headphone (of the same name) which has a range of 120 feet and an operating time of five hours. The headphones are of the over-the-ear variety and come with a built in microphone which make it suitable for VoIP applications.
The Siren Screamer will be available in March for $129.99 while the Wireless Headphones will also be available in March for $99.99.
