Neurok Optics will be previewing their brand new 22 inch iZ3D widescreen 3D LCD monitor at CES 2007. According to Thomas Striegler, CEO of Neurok Optics, LLC, “The 22-inch widescreen version of the iZ3D monitor gives players the
experience of physically being in the game.” To enjoy the full 3D goodness of iZ3D monitors, you’ll need to wear passive polarizer glasses. Neurok Optics will also be introducing a series of new polarized glasses for 3D viewing at CES.

All you need to power an iZ3D widescreen 3D LCD monitor is a PC with a dual output video card. Specs on the 22 inch monitor include:

  • 1680 x 1050 resolutions
  • 170 degree viewing angle
  • 5 ms response time
  • 600:1 contrast ratio
  • 16.7 million colors

If I make it out to CES next week, I’ll definitely be on the lookout for this monitor.  I’ve never been one into 3D displays but it’ll be cool to see if this works well.
