Well.. it looks like I might have to eat my words when it comes to the Creative Xmod device. I’m seeing more and more reviews commending the device (although it does have some minor flaws). The latest review comes from LaptopMag which mentions:

Still, the benefits of the Xmod outweigh its shortcomings, and we’d rather listen to audio with it than without.

Hmm.. ok so maybe I’m sold on the concept of the Xmod now. However, I still wish they would make it a bit more portable friendly.
