Who would have thought that ringtones would be such big business (yes I’m still using a regular ringtone on my cell phone)? As it turns out, people like customizations and ringtones is one of the best ways that a person can distinguish themselves from another. Now the folks at Wirefly.com have come out with a new program called U-DOO which brings customizable ringtones to a whole new level.

With U-DOO, you can build your own personal ringtones with matching avatar characters (called avatar tones). You can then download these avatar tones to your mobile phone, email them to yourself or to your friends, and even publish them on your personal MySpace homepage.

If you go to the site now, you’ll see some pre-recorded ringtones from Wirefly as well as some DJ scratches that you can use. There’s also an option to record your own tones.
