Amazon is now running Round 5 of the Customer Vote program – this time they’re calling it the “Special Edition” round. Why? Well you’re going to get the chance to purchase one of three next generation consoles – the 60GB Sony PlayStation 3, the 20GB Sony PlayStation 3 or the Nintendo Wii.

Rules have changed this time around (and hence the Special Edition moniker). There will be no one winner in this vote – all three products will be eligible for purchase in limited quantities. This is what will happen.

• Your Amazon account must have been created no later than 11:59pm on December 11th, 2006
• You need to make sure you have an authorized credit card on your account
• Select the item that you want. You have until 11:59pm PST December 17th to pick the product.
• Claims codes will be distributed to randomly selected customers for each of the three products
• If selected, you will be eligible to buy the product you selected

Amazon also provided a list of the odds in winning the chance to purchase the item you selected. The odds as of this morning were as follows: (This will probably change as the day goes by)
