iHome Travel Sports Case for iPod
My wife and I decided to go shopping around the 3rd Street Promenade today and we came across the new iHome Travel Sports Case being sold at Brookstone. This is basically a combination case/portable speaker system for the Apple iPod. All you need to do is slide the iPod inside the case and connect it to the speaker system. The iHome Travel Case comes with Stereo Strontium micro driver speakers for what Brookstone calls “rich stereo sound”. You can also alternatively plug in your headphones to the case to listen to music in private.
The iHome Travel Sports Case is rugged in design and is also water proof making it ideal for camping, the poolside, or the beach. You’ll need four AA batteries which are not included or you can plug in the included AC adapter. There’s also a clamp for attaching the Case to a bike or stroller.
