DigitalReviews has posted part 1 of their Dialouge FlyBook V33i notebook review here on their website. This is actually the first time that I’ve ever heard of the Taiwanese company Dialouge but the ultra portable V33i certainly looks interesting. What makes the V33i unique is it’s built in support for a wide variety of wireless networking standards including:
- 802.11 b/g built right in
- Bluetooth 2.0 built right in
- Optional 3.5G W-WAN ( HSDPA / UMTS / EDGE / GPRS / GSM ) or
- Optional 2.75G W-WAN ( EDGE / GPRS / GSM )
Other specs include:
- Intel Pentium M ULV processor running at 1.1 GHz
- 512MB of RAM
- 8.9 inch widescreen TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600
- LCD Overlaid touch panel
- Swivel hinge to allow notebook to operate similar to a convertible notebook (notebook or Tablet mode)
- 2.4 inch 5400 RPM HDD (40 or 60GB)
- TV Video out
- 2-USB 2.0 ports and 2 – Firewire ports
Here’s the early verdict from DigitalReviews:
A great travelling companion and much easier to use on airline seat trays than the full-sized notebooks.
