XYZComputing has posted up a review of the Logitech X-540 speaker system here on their website.  The X-540 is a complete 5.1 channel speaker system designed for those who want inexpensive yet high quality surround sound.

The Logitech X-540 features:

  • Frequency Directed Dual Driver technology which eliminates uneven response created by convential dual driver designs
  • Matrix Mode – creates 5.1 surround sound effect from 2 channel stereo sources
  • LCD clip for center channel
  • Satellite speaker stands which can be rotated for easy mounting and positioning

  • High excursion, ported, down firing subwoofer
  • 70 watts RMS

Here’s the verdict:

Taking the this all into account, I don’t think anyone will be disappointed with the X-540 speaker system. The price is the main selling point, but the system has a lot of other things going for it.
