Akihabara News has posted a short review (along with lots of pictures and a video) of the Kohjinsha SA1F00B UMPC here on their website. The SA1F00B is an ultra small portable notebook system featuring the following specs:
- AMD 500 MHz Geode LX800 CPU
- 512MB RAM
- 80GB HDD
- Display can rotate similar to TabletPCs although there is no touch screen support
- Bluetooth and WiFi support
This isn’t an official UMPC design though since it utilizes an AMD Geode processor as opposed to an Intel Celeron 900MHz processor. So what’s the ultimate verdict from Akiahabra ?
This being said, this PC is still a good machine available at a very decent price for users who are looking for a compact mobile desktop that can be connected to the Internet via network, modem, Wi-Fi, or a Bluetooth phone.
