Alltel Wireless joins in on the GPS navigation fun with the introduction of the new TeleNav GPS Navigator service. With TeleNav GPS Navigator on your Alltel phone, you’ll be able to get maps and directions without printing out directions ahead of time.

The new service is currently only available on the BlackBerry 8703e and the Samsung u520 mobile phone. You can get this service on those phones by paying $9.99 per month for unlimited use or paying $2.99 for use during a single day. Daily use is currently only supported on the Samsung phone.

Features of the new TeleNav GPS Navigator service include the following (from their press release):
