PC Magazine has posted a review of the ASUS S6F ultraportable notebook here on their website. The ASUS S6F packs a lot of features in a small form factor. Inside, you’ll find:

  • Intel Core Duo LV2300 processor running at 1.5GHz
  • Microsoft Windows XP Pro
  • Intel 945 GM Express Chipset
  • 1 GB of DDR2 533 RAM
  • 11.1 inch WXGA ColorShine TFT-LCD with ASUS Splendid Video Intelligent Technology
  • Intel Integrated Graphics from the 945 GM chipset
  • 100GB 4200 RPM HDD
  • Super Slim 4x Super Multi DVD-RW Dual Layer Drive
  • Built in media card reader
  • Intel HD Audio Chip (Azalia)
  • 10/100/1000 Base T network support
  • 802.11 a/b/g support
  • Bluetooth 2.0 support

Despite having all of these features, the ASUS S6F only weighs 3.4 lbs and measures 0.88-1.45″. You can see additional specs on the notebook here on ASUS’ website.

Here’s PC Magazine’s verdict:

The ASUS S6F has the distinction of being one of the few ultraportables that has a built-in optical drive, yet still weighs less than 4 pounds.
