LaptopMag has posted a review of the new Samsung M610 clamshell mobile phone here on their website. The M610 is currently the thinnest clamshell mobile phone in the US and is offered through Sprint PCS. How thin is this phone exactly? How about 0.47 inches thin folks! You have to admit – the Motorola RAZR really changed the industry when it came to mobile phone designs.
Specs on the M610 include:
- 2.0 megapixel digital camera
- Video Camcorder
- Bluetooth enabled
- QVGA display
- Digital Dual-Band
- 3.5 hour talk time
- Measures 3.98″ x 2.05″ x 0.47″ and weighs 3.28 oz
- microSD card slot
Here’s the verdict from LaptopMag:
Overall, the M610 is a solid multimedia phone, but it’s not as full-featured as the LG Fusic and not as cool-looking as the MOTOKRZR, despite the fact that both of those handsets lack a 2-MP camera. Still, if you want the most features possible in the thinnest design possible-and you can live with a behind-the-battery memory card slot-this clamshell is worth a look.
The phone is currently available through Sprint PCS at a price of $179.99 along with a 2 yr agreement.
