“update or restore portable media center using pc application Error”

hi, i have a gigabeat 30gb can someone tell me how to make it work, i connect it to the pc and it takes me to step 2 and still dosn’t work, media player won’t sync the files for it, and at step 2 the payer says something about an update, don’t know what to do can someone help me, here is my email: john7i@hotmail.com

Check out Media Monkey as an alternative to using Media Player. Works better and natively syncs with the gigabeat
