XYZComputing has posted a review of the BlackBerry Pearl smartphone for T-Mobile users here on their website. Despite the proliferation of Windows Mobile smartphones, the BlackBerry is still pretty much the standard when it comes to mobile e-mail. The Pearl takes BlackBerry into a new direction with extensive multimedia support.

Some will see it as the best BlackBerry ever, a great cross between the functionality of a BlackBerry and a hip consumer phone, like the SLVR. Others, like myself, will miss the QWERTY keyboard and despite the smaller size of the phone not be willing to make the tradeoff. It is a personal decision, but either way the Pearl is a great addition to BlackBerry’s line up.
