LaptopMag has posted their review of the Samsung t719 mobile phone for T-Mobile here on their website. The t719 is the first clamshell mobile phone to have email that’s powered by BlackBerry connect. Features of the t719 include:
- Quad band GSM phone
- Lithium Ion battery
- 3 hour talk time
- 5 day standby time
- 1.3 megapixel digital camera
- Bluetooth support
- QWERTY keypad
- Voice activated dialing
- Personal information manager
- Internet and corporate email
The phone is available for $199.99 after a two year agreement, an instant discount, and a mail in rebate.
Here’s the verdict from LaptopMag:
Although having BlackBerry functionality in a clamshell design is cool, we can’t recommend the Samsung t719 over the identically priced BlackBerry Pearl, which features a media player, a microSD Card slot for memory expansion, an attachment viewer, and a sleeker design. If T-Mobile drops the price to $149 or $99, then we’ll talk.
