Matthew Haughey of PVRBlog has posted his review of the TiVo Series 3 DVR over at FM’s Holiday Gadget Guide. By now, most of you know the full details of the TiVo Series 3 DVR. To summarize, it’s got dual HD tuners, the ability to support CableCards which is a wonderful plus (and a great way to finally rid us of the cable company’s blasted set top boxes), and also has a high sticker price.

Here’s the verdict from his review:

If you love HDTV and you never want to miss another second of sports action while at the same time recording shows, there is no finer addition to your home theater than a Series 3 TiVo.
