I have to admit – I’m pretty sad. I’ve been working on the review of the Toshiba gigabeat S 60 FOREVER now and I just can’t seem to find the time to finish it. I’ve reviewed a slew of other products in the meantime, and I just can’t seem to get around to the S 60. Perhaps, I’m growing less and less interested now that the Zune is out and of course.. I’m working on that review too .. grumble. But never fear… this doesn’t mean that Toshiba will stop making gigabeat music players.

Akihabara News has information on a new version of the Toshiba gigabeat P players which use internal flash memory to store your digital music. Toshiba now offers a 2 GB player in addition to 512 MB and 1 GB players. Features of the P series include support for MP3, WMA, WAV, an integrated FM tuner, and a radio recorder. The unit measures 83 x 31 x 12.9 mm and weighs a mere 50 grams

I promise.. I will review the S 60 one of these days. I really will..
