SRS Labs and Sharper Images agree to create new products with SRS WOW inside
Here’s an interesting marriage – SRS Labs has teamed up with Sharper Image to deliver a new line of SRS enabled Sharper Image products featuring SRS Labs audio enhancement technology – SRS WOW. So what does SRS WOW do for the average user? Here’s a quote from the press release:
SRS WOW improves the dynamic audio performance of stereo and mono content by restoring the spatial cues and ambient sounds that are lost during the compression processes of many audio formats, such as AAC and MP3, to create a natural listening experience which resembles the original recording.
Yeah – that’s not too bad eh? This agreement between the two companies allows Sharper Image to embed SRS WOW technology into their audio related products. Sharper Image and SRS Labs will also promote a line of new products containing SRS WOW. These products will have newly designed packaging, plenty of in store demonstrations and a number of different marketing efforts.
