Dell announced two new laptops designed for both consumers and small business that utilize AMD’s latest mobile processors. The new notebooks are the Dell Inspiron 1501 and the Dell Latitude 131L.

Dell Inspiron 1501 features:

  • Mobile AMD Sempron processor with prices starting at $549

In other news, Dell won two innovation awards (amazing) for their Dell XPS M2010 which was their laptop/desktop hybrid system. *yawn* Now if I can only afford the darn thing (let alone lug it around). In fact.. if you go to Dell’s website for the product, they call it the “Showstopper” which is true.. it’s pretty cool looking..but they should also label it a “Backbreaker” since the damn thing weighs 18.30 lbs. Who cares if it’s portable if I can’t lug it anywhere?
