the::unwired has posted a preview of the upcoming Samung SGH-i600 Windows Mobile Smartphone here on their website. The SGH-i600 is Samsung’s first UMTS and HSDPA enabled Windows Mobile based Smartphone. Features of the SGH-i600 include:

  • QWERTY thumb keyboard
  • Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone
  • GSM/GRPS/EDGE support
  • UMTS and HSDPA support
  • 802.11 b/g support
  • Bluetooth 2.0 with stereo support
  • 128 MB ROM and 64MB RAM
  • microSD support
  • 2.3 inch QVGA landscape TFT screen with support for 65K colors
  • 1.3 megapixel digital camera and secondary QCIF+ camera for UMTS video telephony

If you plan to upgrade your Windows Mobile phone in the near future, in my humble opinion the i600 is worth to wait for; as long as mobile data is as important for you as it is for me. I can hardly await the release.
