Kensington Entertainment Dock 500 Review
The Gadgeteer has posted their review of the Kensington Entertainment Dock 500 here on their website. The Kensington Entertainment Dock 500 is one of those living room oriented iPod docks that isn’t actually obnoxiously large in size. How about that!
You can connect the Dock 500 to your home receiver or your television set and then:
- listen to music stored on the iPod
- watch videos and view images on the television set via the video out ports
Features of the Dock 500 include:
- Share your favorite music, videos and photos through your home entertainment system
- Wireless RF remote controls your iPod from up to 50 feet away!
- Play and charge at the same time
- Includes built-in Universal Dock for iPod
- For iPod or iPod mini with dock connector, also works with new iPod nano and video.
So is this device worth it? Here’s the verdict from the Gadgeteer:
Do I recommend this product as a solution for watching iPod videos on a TV? No, not really. It costs $50 more than the Marware product while not offering much more.
