Gizmodo has published their look into the Philips 7FFIM4 Photo Frame here on their website. I have to admit – the frame itself looks pretty darn sweet and you have to love the fact that it comes in four different border colors (hmm one to match every room.. nice).

Some specs:

  • 137 x 91 mm viewing area (for the seven inch model)
  • 800 x 480 resolution with a viewing area of 720 x 480
  • 170 degree viewing angle
  • 20000 hour lifetime to 50% brightness
  • 200 cd/m2 brightness
  • USB connection
  • Supports media cards (CF, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, MMC, SD)
  • Stores 50+ pics in internal memory
  • 2 built in card readers
  • 6 buttons
  • Perform editing functions
  • Create a slideshow for all stored pictures
  • Play slideshows or browse single photo and thumbnails
  • Automatic on and off display at preset times daily

Here’s Gizmodo’s verdict on the frame:

In a sentence, it’s pretty, the screen is gorgeous, although it lacks the features of other net enabled photo frames
