Microsoft sets launch date for Office 2007 and Windows Vista
Microsoft will officially mark the business launch of Windows Vista and Office 2007 on November 30th, 2006 with an event to be held in New York City at the NASDAQ stock exchange. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will be on hand at the event which is being dubbed the “New Day for Business” event.
November 30th also marks the launch date for Exchange 2007 which means all three products will be available to businesses at the same time. Consumer availability of Vista and Office will not take place until January of 2007.
