It looks like Dell’s new relationship with AMD is continuing to grow as Dell is set to release new sub $500 notebooks in November featuring AMD processors. Digitimes is reporting that the first batch of 500,000 AMD based notebooks will be cominng out during that timeframe with a 15.4 inch model coming out first at around $449-$499. A 17 inch model will also be added during the first quarter of next year.

The 15.4 inch model is being manufactured by a Taiwanese company called Quanta Computer while the new 17 inch model will be produced by another company called Compal Electronics.
