MSI is introducing a new 17 inch notebook called the Megabook L745. What’s particularly cool about the L745 is the usage of the upgradeable MXM II video chip module. MXM stands for Mobile PCI Express Module and it lets users upgrade their video and graphics at a later point in time. For instance, if you’re not happy with the graphics module within the L745, you can later remove the MXM II module and replace it with a better module. A laptop with an upgrade path – nice.
The L745 features a mirrored finished surface, 4.1 channel surround sound, a widescreen 17 inch display with a 16:10 ratio, a built in webcam and wireless support.
