Just great. Apple is reporting that less than 1 percent of iPod video players made AFTER Sept. 12th may be infected with a virus. This virus only affects computers running Microsoft Windows. It’s not exactly sure how many iPod video players are affected at this time. The iPod nano, shuffle, and Max OS X are not affected by this problem. These iPods were infected with the virus at one of the contract manufacturers that Apple uses.

I love the support page that Apple put up for this problem. They put the blame on themselves AND on Windows for not being more hardy against viruses. Nice. A little jab at Windows even though it’s their own fault for having the virus on the player itself. Good stuff. I still think there’s a conspiracy in here somewhere.
