ExtremeTech has posted up a review of the new Razer Barracuda HP-1 Headphones designed for gamers out there. The claim to fame for the HP-1 is the use of 99% oxygen free copper cabling which translates to audio signal purity according to Razer. Other features include:

  • 8 discrete drivers – 6 for mid high frequency and 2 for bass
  • Individual channel volume control – 1 master volume control
  • Detachable microphone
  • 6 channel analog inputs
  • Eight amplifiers contained within its volume control units
  • Output power of 330 mW
  • Razer HD-DAI interface (High Definition-Dedicated Audio Interface)
