Cure those sweaty hands with the Logitech ChillStream Controller for the Playstation 3
While you wait for the Sony Playstation 3 to come out, you can check out the newly announced Logitech ChillStream controller for the PS3. This controller is Logitech’s first product designed specifically for the next generation gaming console. What makes the ChillStream so “cool” (pardon the pun), is the integrated fan based cooling system designed to keep gamer’s hands cool and dry.
The ChillStream controller features a 40 mm fan that’s capable of circulating up to 3.41 cubic feet of air every minute while at the same time keeping everything quiet. There are narrow vents along the side of the controller which push air directly onto your four fingers, base of the thumb, and the palm of your hand. Finally, you can choose three different air speed settings – high, low, and off.
The controller will come in two different finishes – metallic silver and glossy black. Other finishing touches include metal detailing on the mesh intake cover and rubber grips to make the controller more comforable in your hands.
The new controller will be out when the new PS3 is launched in November. The suggested retail price for the Logitech ChillStream controller will be $39.99.
