An interview with a beta tester
More Microsoft Zune news for you to take in. GearLive.com has posted a video of an interview they conducted with a Zune beta tester at the Podcast Media Expo. For those of you unable to view the video, here are the highlights from the beta tester:
- Yes it’s a beta version of the player
- A quote from the tester – “It’s pretty neat .. I’ve actually been enjoying it quite a bit” (yes he does not work for Microsoft!)
- Magnetic headphones allowing them to stay together and not get tangled up
- FM reception is ok
- Definitely a variation of the Portable Media Center UI
- Scrolling seems faster than the PMC in Toshiba Gigabeat S
- Zune sharing – can select a single song or an entire album to share via wireless
- Thinks it’s possible to sync with a Windows Media Center system for recorded television shows but he’s not sure
- Not as excited about the Zune Marketplace
- BROWN IS HOT! The beta testers were not allowed to get brown colored Zunes
- Finally – he says the Zune is a “simple easy device to use”
Finally, check out some screenshots of the video that were taken at ZuneSphere.com (one of our sister sites). Enjoy!
