Alltel Wireless starts offering the Nokia 2865i handset
Alltel Wireless announced that the Nokia 2865i handset is now available at Alltel retail stores and also available online at their website. The Nokia 2865i is a slim handset featuring:
- CDMA,1xRTT plus AMPS band
- 800/1900MHz frequencies
- Bluetooth support
- Speakerphone
- Voice activated dialing
- BREW client 3.1.2
- Measures 1.7″ x 4.2″ x .7″ and weighs only 3.5oz
- Talk time of 225 minutes
- Standby time of 240 hours
The phone is available for $9.99 after a 20 dollar mail in rebate and a 2 year new service agreement
Alltel Wireless to offer slender Nokia 2865i handset
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. –(Business Wire)– Oct. 5, 2006 Alltel Wireless (NYSE: AT), America’s largest network and Nokia (NYSE: NOK), the world’s leading manufacturer of wireless phones, today announced that the slender, affordable Nokia 2865i handset is now available at Alltel retail stores.
“The Nokia 2865i handset combines a slim design and affordable price with the ability to download games and ringtones and surf the mobile Web,” said Wade McGill, senior vice president of product management for Alltel Wireless.
In addition to being Axcess Web capable, the Nokia 2865i handset features hands-free Bluetooth(R) wireless technology, a speakerphone and voice-activated dialing, and BREW(R) Client 3.1.2.
The Nokia 2865i handset is available from Alltel for $9.99 after a $20 mail-in rebate. This discounted price is available to new customers on two-year service agreements as well as to existing eligible customers on qualifying rate plans.
