Price confirmed for Xbox HD DVD drive – it’s $199
Kotaku.com is reporting that Microsoft has confirmed the price of the external HD DVD drive for the Xbox 360. The price is set for $199 here in the U.S. and the drive should be available around the middle of November – just in time for the Christmas shopping season. For folks in the UK, France, and Germany. the HD DVD drive will sell for €199.99/£129.99.
Microsoft will also bundle the drive with a copy of King Kong in HD DVD and a Microsoft 360 Universal Media Remote.
