Pictures of the new Neuros OSD beta have surfaced on flickr for anyone interested in the open source DVR media center platform. Neuros Technology launched the beta last week and made several systems available via ThinkGeek.com. They have since sold out on the website but we’re sure reviews will surface fairly quickly. The OSD is a Linux based Media Center platform capable of recording video from a variety of sources and also sharing media files from a variety of sources. If you’re a Linux programmer, you might also be interested in several programming contests being held by Neuros for the OSD.
