Details about the new upcoming Shuttle XPC X200 small form factor PC have been revealed over at DailyTech. The X200 is similar to the current X100 system now available from Shuttle. It utilizes the same chassis as the X100 but that’s where the similarities end. While the X100 is geared towards performance enthusiasts, the X200 is targeted towards the multimedia crowd. The X200 supports the Intel Core Duo, Core 2 Duo, and Celeron M processors along with the Intel 945GM chipset. Yup – instead of the ATI graphics found in the X100, the X200 comes with Intel integrated graphics – not the best but not awful either. The system supports dual displays via a video dongle which connects to the systems DVI port and then supplies a single DVI out and VGA out. Other specs on the X200 include:

  • 2 DDR2-667 SO-DIMM slots with max of 2GB of memory
  • Realtek ALC882 audio codec
  • Gigabit Ethernet
  • 4 in 1 SD/MMC/MS/MS-Pro card reader
  • 3.5 inch HDD

The real key difference between the X200 and the X100 is the optional internal NTSC TV tuner for the X200. This means the X200 is an ideal fit for the living room environment as well as the Microsoft Windows Media Center OS. Shuttle includes an XPC Media Center Remote Control for the X200.

The system is expected to be available starting in November and prices will start at $499.
