Systemax introduces new line of mini PCs
Systemax has introduced a new line of mini PCs called the Impact Mini PC. The new line will come with three models designed for different market segments.
The base level Impact Mini PC is called the Impact2 and will feature:
- 1.4 GHz Intel Celeron M processor
- 40GB SATA HDD
- 256MB of memory
- Windows XP Home Edition
- CD-RW/DVD combo drive
- Video Out
- Firewire
- DVI
- 2 USB ports
- Will cost $499.99
The mid level Imapct Mini PC is called the Impact VXR and will feature:
- 1.66GHz Intel Core Duo Mobile T2050 processor
- 80GB SATA HDD
- 512MB of DDR2 memory
- Windows XP Media Center Edition
- Remote Control
- built in ATSC/NTSC TV Tuner
- DVD-RW drive
- S-Video out
- FireWire
- DVI
- SPDIF
- 2 USB ports
- Will cost $799.99
Finally, the top of the line Impact Mini PC will be called the Impact VXR2 and will feature:
- 1.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor
- 1GB DDR2 memory
- Otherwise similar specs as the VXR
- will cost $899.99
All three systems come with Intel’s integrated graphics support (not great but ok) and 802.11b/g wireless support. You’ll also get a USB keyboard/mouse and a 1 year warranty. The systems will go on sale at TigerDirect.com starting on October 1st.
