LaptopMag has posted up a review of the Polycom Communicator USB Speakerphone here on their website. The Polycom Communicator connects to your PC via the USB cable and allows you to make Skype calls using a speakerphone style interface. There’s also a headphone jack available in case you feel the need for some privacy in your conversation. I’m not so sure about the color choice of the Communicator - I can’t help but feel that this is more of a toy than a real professional device. Here’s LaptopMag’s verdict:
While we found the sound quality uneven, this device is definitely worth a try for frequent travelers looking to make free long-distance calls to other PC users or 2-cents-per-minute calls to everyone else.
