We posted about the Nike contact lens solution last year called Nike MaxSight. These lens were made in conjunction with Bausch & Lomb and are geared towards athletic individuals. You can check out Nike’s website for information about where to find Nike MaxSight lens (yes we had originally called the lens Nike MaxSite but that was changed). Features of the lens include:

  • Provides distortion free optics
  • Covers the entire pupil eliminating glare and enhancing contrast
  • No frame or nosepiece obstructuon – no lens fogging or fit issues
  • Blocks specific wavelengths of light – details appear clearer and “pop” off the background
  • Filters out more than 90% of harmful blue light and 95% of UVA and UVB

There are two colors – Grey-Green for golf, running, and training and Amber for soccer, tennis, baseball, football, and rugby. Why different colors? Well it’s the colored lens which actually helps filter out visual noise and improves visual clarity. Thus the colors are geared specifically for the activity you’re involved in.
