Let the Core 2 Duo Notebooks roll..  Yup.. with the announcement yesterday of the new Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processor, a slew of hardware manufacturers have come out with new systems and of course.. a slew of reviews have come out. PC Mag’s out with a ton of new reviews, so let’s start with their review of the Winbook T231 (which isn’t even available on the Winbook website yet).

The T231 features:

• Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 processor running at 2.16GHz
• 1GB RAM
• Weighs 5.3 lbs
• 14.1 inch widescreen display
• Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics
• 120GB HDD
• 802.11a/g wireless
• Dual Layer DVD+R drive

Here’s their verdict:

Although it boasts an extremely fast Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the T231’s heat issues and poor battery life are hard to ignore.
