Dell adds Core 2 Duo to their laptops and introduces new Dell AIO 946 printer
Dell made a couple of product announcements today. First up, they announced that the new Intel Core 2 Duo processor will be available across all XPS mobile systems and Dell Precision mobile workstations. They are also making the processor available in select Inspiron and Latitude notebooks.
This is made possible only because the Core 2 Duo processor is pin compatible with the Core Duo processor. System manufacturers can easily upgrade mobile systems as a result. Available immediately are the following systems:
Core 2 Duo processors will be available in the Inspiron E1505 and E1405 later this week and then on the Latitude D820, D620, and D520 starting next week.

The Photo AIO 946 delivers business productivity features such as professional print quality brochures and flyers, standalone fax and 50-sheet auto document feeder. Wireless printing with Wi-Fi-enabled Dell notebook computers is also available with the optional Dell Wireless Printer Adapter 3300.
Ideal for mobile users on the go, the Photo AIO 946 meets personal print needs such as greeting cards and sharp photo printing2 from a digital camera – delivered with or without being connected to a PC.
