Toshiba has a new conference room projector out called the Toshiba TLP-XC2500U. Features on this projector include:

• 2500 ANSI lumens
• Native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution
• 400:1 contrast ratio
• Anti-theft device

The anti-theft feature is pretty interesting – there’s a small control panel device on the projector that when removed makes the projector inoperable. You’ll need to enter a four digit password via the remote control to make the projector work.

Another unique feature about the Toshiba TLP-XC2500U is the integrated CMOS 3 megapixel document camera. The document camera lies at the end of an arm which allows you to position the camera wherever you need to. With the camera, you can now add photo samples, printed  documents, images, transparencies and really anything easily into your presentations. The document camera features a 16x digital zoom and a built in LED light. You can purchase this projector for $1539 at Toshibadirect.com.
