Here’s an interesting home convergence device – the SavitMicro Dueple Media Player. This home theater oriented device features an integrated hard drive and a DVD player. On the hard drive side, the player supports a variety of video file formats. For high definition support, the SavitMicro supports MPEG, DivX, and WMV HD formats. For regular video, the player supports XviD, MPEG 1/2/4 and of course DVDs. You’ll find audio support in the form of MP3, OGG, and WMA file formats. Connector interfaces include USB 2.0, Ethernet jacks, DVI, Component, S-Video, Optical audio and Coaxial audio.
