PC Magazine has posted a review of the latest iteration of the Thinkpad Z series notebook – the Z61m here on their website. The Z61m comes with the same titanium cover that Lenovo made available in the previous iteration of the Z widescreen notebook but you can also get the more traditional Thinkpad case materials too. Inside the Z61m is an Intel Core Duo processor, a 15.4 inch widescreen display with a resolution of 1680 x 1050, EV-DO wireless support, a built in 1.3 megapixel webcam, and an ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 GPU. Here’s the verdict from PC Magazine:
Lenovo’s latest desktop-replacement notebook is even more powerful, with the new Intel Core Duo processor and a built-in Verizon EV-DO cellular modem. Its weight, however, will make you think twice before taking it off your desk.
