AMEX DIGITAL has announced the launch of the world’s first Blu-ray HTPC A/V Center computer called the MPC-505. It’s an Intel Viiv-enabled system featuring specs such as:

  • Intel Pentium D 930 processor
  • Intel 945P Express Chipset
  • Microsoft Windows Media Center 2005
  • 2GB of DDR2 RAM
  • 1TB of SATA HDD
  • Blu-ray Drive
  • Integrated Intel AGP Graphics with DVI or HDMI out
  • 7.1 channel sound
  • Analog TV Tuner
  • Digital TV Tuner DVB-T

There’s no info on pricing as of yet but you’re sure to see more on this at the Computex Taiwan in June.
