ExtremeTech has posted a review of the new Matrox TripleHead2Go unit here on their website. The TripleHead2Go is basically an upgrade to Matrox’s DualHead2Go unit which allowed users the ability to have multi-monitor support with a single graphics card. As the name implies, the TripleHead2Go will allow users to support up to three monitors from a single card – great for those of you who need lots of desktop real estate space but don’t want to spend additional money for a super large monitor (three 17 inch monitors are cheaper than a 30 inch LCD). Here’s ExtremeTech’s verdict on the TripleHead2Go:
There’s no better way to drive three monitors, but analog-only resolution limits are disappointing and the cost is pretty steep.
