Xbox 360 camera details coming out
IGN has posted some details on the upcoming Xbox 360 camera on their website here. They managed to find this info while checking out the Game Developers Conference which is going on in San Jose, CA. Here are some of the specs on the upcoming camera:
- Nine foot cord
- Video chat over Xbox Live
- Gesture recognition – translates your real life movements into game input
- XDK support for streaming video
- USB 2.0 bus powered
- Smooth near DV quality video up to VGA 640 x 480 resolutions at 30 fps
- Still photo snapshots up to SVGA resolutions – 1280 x 980
- Manually adjustable variable focus – 2 feet to infinity
- 43 degrees of viewing angle
- On board image processor
- Digital zoom
- Auto exposure, white balance, gamma correction, sharpness
- Headset for audio
